"The word is out! Zion is no longer the best kept secret for private schools in San Francisco..."
- Zion Parent

"If there is an area Zion could not do without, it's their music and performing arts programs. The strong academics are certainly a big plus, but these programs, which are introduced in Kindergarten, prepare our children for public speaking and performances. By the time they graduate, each of our girls will have participated in 18 Advent services and spring musicals. We also love that our house is filled with songs from Broadway musicals like "Oliver", "Oklahoma" and "Fiddler on the Roof". For both of us, it brings back many fond childhood memories of dancing and singing by the piano with our families while growing up. And now, we get to bond with our own family in the same way."
- David and Gwen, 1st and 4th grade parents

"The staff and teachers are incredibly caring and supportive, both in and out of the classroom. My children are all about sports, and we've had teachers come to watch both their weekend soccer and basketball games. They love it when their teachers come to watch them play, and it makes me feel good, too! And it's not just the teachers - just recently the principal drove all the way to Lodi on a Saturday morning to cheer on girls' basketball team. And our school secretary always seems to have a story to tell me about something good or nice or funny that one of children have done that day. All the staff and teachers really seem to care about my children, and take an interest in them as a whole person, not just as a student."

"Zion challenges its students academically, while at the same time motivates and instills a love of learning in them. The teachers really know the students individually. They help them develop their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. My children always come home eager to share with me the new things they learn and experience every day. It is always amazing to see how much they can excel and improve academically, socially, and spiritually in just a school year!"

"My three children are graduates of this wonderful caring school that prepared them so well for high school."

"I love the personal attention my children get at Zion. The teachers and staff know each child by name and really care about them. They give 110% to the kids and school families in class, in clubs, and in community-building events. The curriculum gives them a really solid foundation in the basics but also builds in more advanced concepts and subjects. I love that my 5th grader is learning about the periodic table and writing reports on current events. The extracurricular activities - sports, music, theater, languages, and others - provide really great opportunities for the kids and are quite wide-ranging, especially for a small school. I also love that Zion is a Christian school not just in name only; helping students grow in their faith is an explicit objective."
