Fine Arts
Whether your child's medium is drama, art, music or more... we have a little something for everybody.
Teachers in all grades incorporate art into their curriculum. Whether it is a study of a particular artist or a general technique, the benefits of art are numerous.
Arts education has been shown to improve:

Arts education also encourages students to take risks, and learn from their mistakes.

"Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys And Dolls Jr introduces us to colorful characters who have become legends in the musical theatre canon: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight "mission doll,"; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, a nightclub performer whose chronic flu is brought on by the fact she's been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiance, desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating dice game"

" The handbell choir is very exciting. Children in fourth to eighth grade are allowed to participate. We practice once a week and play throughout the school year on Sundays and Wednesday during Chapel. I am in the handbell choir and it is very fun. Even if you don't know how to play the bells, you can still participate as long as you know how to ring a bell. The handbell choir director even highlights the notes for you! It is a great experience and you are honored in the picture at the end of the yearbook." - L.L., 5th grade student
