After School Programs

Study Hall Study hall is available to students in 3rd-8th grade $6.00 from 3:15pm-4:15pm Monday - Thursday Every other Wednesday study hall is in extended care. Chinese School Academic Chess Kids learn chess strategies, chess openings, solve chess diagrams and puzzles. A one hour chess class consists of 30 minutes of chess lessons and 30 minutes of playing time. Curriculum is designed to fit the needs of all levels. Continuing and new students are welcome. Program cost: $80 for 8 weeks

Engineering FUNdamentals with LEGOS
Grades 1-4 can learn how to design and build motorized machines, houses, pyramids, bridges, catapults, buildings and other constructions. Explore concepts in physics, mechanical and structural engineering, and architecture while playing with your favorite creations. Children will be given instruction, design challenges, and will compete appropriate to their ability. Program cost: $192 per 12 week course Friday Basketball Workshop
FRIDAYS Mr. Arellano (2nd grade teacher) will practice dribbling, shooting, and teamwork with our K-2 and 3-4 grade students in the gym. Celebrate with a pizza party at the end of the 'season'. Sign up fast - only the first 16 applicants will be accepted! Program Cost: $5 per class |
Music Lessons

8 week program, twice a year The goal of this class is to introduce cooking skills to each student as well as familiarity to kitchen terms and safety tips. Program Cost: Included in the extended care fee ($12/day) Extended Care Art 8 week program, twice a year Art workshops - themes and mediums include: still-life watercolor, working with charcoal and pastels, and introduction to line, color and shape.
